Giving Back Photographer Style

I am happy to share that on December 3,2011.Shawn Chase Photograpy was able to attend "Family Day" with "Louisiana National Guard, Alpha Co., 256th BSTB" in New Roads.A day filled with Santa, giveaways and time for families to have fun.Free Santa pictures! We had a great time and hope that all of the soldiers and familes we spent time with had a great time and have a Merry Christmas.

Our First Pumpkin Day

Septmeber 18,2011 (Sunday) Shawn Chase Photography will be out at North Park in Denham Springs for our first Pumpkin Day.Children will be encouraged to decorate a pumpkin to keep and bring home for the fall season.The children will be given washable markers or crayons to decorate with so as to not mess up their clothes.

They are encouraged to play while I photograph their work and there will be a final pose when the pumpkin is done.Attire should be relaxed.Fees are as follows.

$10 sitting fee due at the time of the event.

$25 for the following package:

1-8x10 of your favorite pose
1-5x7 of any pose
8-4x6 snapshots

$15 Package
1-8x10
8-4x6

Fall is Approaching!

This year for fall we will be offering a pumpkin day.Kids and parents will be encpuraged to meet Shawn at a public park to decorate their own pumpkin.
Pumpkins will be decorated with markers.Stay tuned for dates for this event.Of course our usual photo packages and individual prints will be offered.My orders take about 10 days to come in.

Welcome to Shawn Chase Photography.My specialty is portraiture of children, teens and adults. I do my best work when shooting one-on-one. I will do family portraits with the help of the parents. Mini-sessions are offered for babies, and toddlers.

Child and teen sessions are very laid back and last approximately 1-2 hours. I am willing to travel outside of the Baton Rouge area within reason.Any session further than 30 miles from my location will be asked to pay a small deposit for travel expense.

I embrace lost teeth, genuine moments,laughing and bewildering looks.Special needs children are absolutely welcome and encouraged to be themselves.Parents must attend special needs sessions to communicate or help with your childs needs.
