Life gives us photographers chances to meet amazing people and share in the joys of their lives.From the birth of a child to the steps of becoming a young adult. We're able to express ourselves through art. Whether it be fine art photography, snap shots or a party. We all are given gifts by God to make the world a better place. I have been truly blessed in my life and through the people I meet.

How I got started

I guess the best way that I can explain how I got started with photography is by fate. I became interested in the arts and photography when I got out of high school. My Uncle Johnny bought me a photography book and I blew me away . Life took over though and motherhood took over.
After my older kids were raised I developed CKD ( Chronic Kidney Disease
And had to go through the joys of being ill. I ended up getting a kidney transplant in 2008 and almost lost my life in the process.
They say that God opens new doors. Well this was my opening. I had lost my maternal grandmother in 2004 who loved the camera and photographed every putting as well as art projects. I picked up a camera ( Kodak easy share 3x ) and started looking at how beautiful this world is. I saw things that I had never seen. From a lady bug to the stems of a flower. My journey had begun . For Christmas that years husband bought me a better camera but still fully automatic.
